G21 Webzine for October, 1998.

THIS MONTH'S WINNER is "NaciMay"

dream: ok last night i had a dream i went to the doctors and i was going to take a pregnancy test but the woman at the clinic kept telling me to wait and i got tired of waiting so i left then i was back in the office and i was pregnant but no one had told me and its really bugging me cause i want to know what this means.

DOCTOR : this is symbolic of your inner guidance involved with healing; healing guidance.

PREGNANCY TEST : symbolic of being tested to see if you are ready to handle the birth of something new in your life...this could be a new phase of your life having to do with a job, school, a new relationship, a new outlook on life; just about anything. You can help pin-point it further by looking at other symbols within this dream or in other dreams that carry similar symbology.

WOMAN @ CLINIC, WAITING : I notice you didn't say she was a nurse, or a secretary. I believe she represents your connection to your inner self and your intuitiveness & creativity or rather, lack of connecting with this part of yourself. WOMAN symbology is also one of reception, so this may be pointing to your inner reception being off-kilter. Do you feel that you just can't figure something important out; you don't know how to go about doing something, or deciding what you want to do? It's probably a message that you need to focus on your intuition more or find ways to nuture this aspect of your self.

Timing is everything, and sometimes we are ready to move on but don't have all the "tools" we need yet, so we will have to wait. There is something you weren't "getting" or figuring out.

CLINIC : also symbolic of the need for healing, or that healing is about to take place/is taking place. A message that help is available for you.

TIRED OF WAITING : this logically speaks of something in your life that you are tired of waiting to take place. If one rushes progress, they get an inferior product. Everything happens in it's own time, and it can be challenging (not to mention frustrating!) to remember that there are many factors involved in something working out to our best advantage. It may seem on the surface that we are just spinning our wheels and not getting anywhere, when in fact events are taking place that help lead us to a successful destination on our journey. It helps to have faith that everything is happening for a reason, as it should--even when progress seems like it's at a stand-still.

LEAVING DOCTOR'S OFFICE : since the doctor symbology is your inner healing guidance, you left this aspect of yourself before you were ready to, which is why it was a big suprise to be back at the doctor's office, yet pregnant...and ticked because nobody had told you. Your inner guidance tried to connect with you & tell you, but you were impatient/weren't connecting and that's why you didn't find out. However, although you may not have seen the inner workings of this intuition, you have the end result...you are successfully giving birth to something new in your life! Only you can identify what this "something" is; it could be anything from spiritual growth to figuring out what you want to do with your life; something monumental. If it hasn't happened yet, keep your eyes and intuition open to watch it develop. My guess is that it's already in progress, or in fruition. Good luck!

Wow, I'm happy I won the contest. That dream was one that stood out in my mind, like while I was dreaming it I could tell I was dreaming; and when I woke up it was all I thought about for the whole day, so thank u very much for taking the time to interpret my dream.

Alot of what u had said makes sense in what is going on in my life; I'm doing a lot of new things, starting college figuring out what I want to do in life and a new relationship.
